California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is the largest single campus university in the United States. It is located in Northridge, California, in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. CSUN is one of 23 California State Universities, and offers a wide variety of degree programs. The school is considered an important player in the academic prosperity of the state of California.

CSUN is a member of the California State University International Programs, which allows students to explore the world while on campus. CSUN offers a number of clubs and organizations, including the Lambda Theta Phi sorority, the Alpha Kappa Alpha National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Gamma Zeta Alpha fraternity. CSUN has also been recognized as a leading music school, with several Grammy award-winning artists.

As of fall 2015, there were 41,548 students enrolled at CSUN. Approximately 82% of those undergraduates returned to the school for a sophomore year. During that same time, 54% of those first-year full-time undergrads earned their Bachelor’s degree.
